Loss touches us all. When we lose someone, grief can bring a wide range of emotions that are often hard to process. Loss can also come in many forms — bereavement, the end of a relationship, redundancy, or losing a sense of who we are when life’s challenges feel overwhelming. Each person’s journey is unique, and I’m here to listen and support you, wherever you are on yours.
I provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your feelings openly and find a way forward at your own pace. I recognise, loss is rarely felt in isolation, which is why I also work with a wide range of issues including relationship problems, difficult childhood experiences, low self-esteem, anxiety and depression. My therapeutic approach combines Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, tailoring sessions to your individual needs.

Each experience of loss is unique. Together, we can explore your feelings at your own pace, helping you to understand them and find meaning and ways to live alongside your loss. Over time, counselling can help you discover moments of calm and connection again.

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, leaving you stuck in a cycle of worry, low mood, or self-doubt. Counselling provides a safe space where together we can explore what’s contributing to these feelings and begin to discover healthier ways forward.

Relationships are central to our lives, but they can also cause pain. Whether you’re struggling with communication, trust, or emotional closeness, we can explore how your past experiences affect the way you relate to others, helping you achieve more fulfilling connections.

At times it can be difficult to see your own worth and feel comfortable in who you are. This can impact your confidence, relationships, and everyday choices. Together we can reflect on where these beliefs stem from, enabling you to reconnect with your strengths, and rebuild a more confident sense of self.
I provide counselling for grief, loss, anxiety, depression, confidence and self-esteem - supporting you through life's every day change and transitions.
Please reach us at juliedcounselling@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Each session is 50 minutes, delivered online via Google Meet. In the first session you will be able to share what brings you to counselling and what you hope to gain. It is an opportunity for you to ask questions about therapy and how I work, and to decide if I am the right counsellor for you.
I offer an initial free 15-minute consultation.
My fee for an individual counselling session is £50. All sessions are delivered online.
I also offer concessionary fees on request.
For counselling to be most effective it is beneficial to attend weekly. I work with clients on both a short and long-term basis, based on your individual needs and goals. This is something we will review together throughout the counselling process.
I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (BACP) and work in accordance with their ethical framework. Part of this includes confidentiality, and anything discussed is done so in confidence. As part of my professional practice I discuss my work with a qualified supervisor to ensure my work meets with clinical standards. Here no personal client details are shared.
